Students are optimistic, hopeful initiators of change, as they always have been, but they don’t feel there are processes which allow them to speak and be heard. Now, students are sadly accepting that Durham University’s hallowed halls are an experience they simply wont be able to afford to share with their children or siblings.

The Guardian yesterday put out a story about the NHS cutting meat from menus. Absolutely brilliant moves from Whitehall.
The motive: increase social acceptance amongst Muslims, Jews, Hindus (and vegetarians), and more to the point: cut costs.
